Call for Online and On-site Instructors for Traditional Chinese Medicine / Western Medicine Foundation Courses

The Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine is a fully recognized career college and has been approved by the Canadian Federal Ministry of Immigration and Nova Scotia Ministry of Education to enroll Canadian and international students in our acupuncture and TCM diploma courses. (Designated learning institution number: O250138504947) More and more students are attending our school to become practitioners to help others. For this reason, we are looking to hire more instructors.

About our online courses:

Class hours: (EST) 5 pm – 9 pm

Content: Foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine / Western Medicine

Qualifications

Instructors will be expected to possess the followings:

  • Educational qualifications: a Diploma of Acupuncture or a Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine from a recognized college or university
  • Work experience: At least 2 years of working experience as an Acupuncturist or TCM practitioner
  • Teaching experience: At least 1 year of teaching experience
  • Language skill: Fluency in English is preferred
  • Experience with instructing using the Zoom and Moodle Learning Management System is

preferred.

  • Instructors must be able to meet the qualifications set out by the Private Career Colleges

Division of the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education.

Job Types: Contract, Part-time
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
