We are currently recruiting a Prep Cook on behalf of our client, to prepare and cook a variety of dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to the culinary excellence of their establishment. If you have a passion for cooking and the ability to work efficiently under pressure, we'd like to introduce you to this important role in the world of culinary arts.Experience: Chinese restaurant cooking with woks and strong knife skills are an asset for this position.Responsibilities include:Cutting meats and vegetablesPreparing and cooking dishes to orderUsing deep fryersMaintaining a clean and organized kitchenMaintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipmentPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:2+ years of experience in a fast paced kitchen.Experience preparing a variety of Chinese dishes.Maintain a clean, organized work area.Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.Maintain a positive attitude and remain calm under pressure.Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and take direction.Food safety certification is preferred.Benefits:Discounted or free foodAbility to commute/relocate:Riverview, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)License/Certification:Food Safety Certification (preferred)Close Date: 2023-12-30
